Your money, your information.
What NetCarry uses
NetCarry uses the account names, institutions, currencies, total values, and history you authorize through SnapTrade, along with financial items and assumptions you enter, to calculate your financial picture. We do not place trades.
Access and control
OAuth credentials remain encrypted on the server. Sessions use secure cookies. In Settings you can export your data, disconnect SnapTrade, or delete your account. Disconnecting removes imported financial data and preserves your manual items. Full deletion removes your locally stored account, credentials, snapshots, and plans.
Users manage brokerage connections and upstream access in the SnapTrade Dashboard. Disconnecting NetCarry does not delete a SnapTrade account. Hosting/database providers may retain backups according to their configured retention policy. This application includes no analytics or session replay.
How to read the numbers
Annual net compounding equals asset values multiplied by their expected rates, less liability balances multiplied by their interest rates. The net growth percentage divides that result by current net worth. It is not historical IRR or traditional MWRR, and excludes income, future contributions and payments.
Percentages are hidden when net worth is not greater than both $100 in reporting currency and 1% of gross assets plus liabilities. Dollar amounts remain visible. The default 2% inflation benchmark is an editable planning assumption.
History and forecasts
Stored snapshots are observations of values returned when retrieved. SnapTrade beta historical values are upstream estimates. Manual history is modeled from current value and annual rate; liability history does not reconstruct past loan payments. Charts distinguish these sources. Forecasts use monthly effective growth, end-of-month cash flows and debt balances floored at zero.
Retirement targets use an editable spending/withdrawal-rate heuristic. They do not model taxes, market volatility, sequence-of-returns risk or longevity. This is educational planning software, not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
